Course Overview
This course is divided in three distinct units.
Unit 1 - Relations and Functions Section 1 - Polynomial Functions - Chapter 5 - Rational Expressions - Chapter 4 and Equations Section 2 - Exponential Functions - Chapter 6 Logarithmic Functions - Chapter 7 Section 3 - Sinusoidal Functions - Chapter 8 Unit 2 - Logic and Reasoning Section 1 - Set Theory - Chapter 1 Unit 3 - Probability Section 1 - Counting Methods - Chapter 2 Section 2 - Probability and Odds - Chapter 3 Each Unit will be completed in its own Workspace. Student Work / Individual Lessons
You will be provided with the following materials for each Section:
*Keys will be provided for students to self - assess once evidence of the completion of the Assessment is shown to the supervising teacher.
Pre - and Formative Assessments are not included in your grade, though must be completed before being permitted to do the Summative Assessments, which are formally evaluated.
- notes package (the entire chapter can be printed)
- walk - through videos for each lesson
- practice questions and pages from the textbook
- chapter Formative Assessment (Review) and Key*
- two minor summative assessments (a Curriculum Review and a Chapter Quiz)
- one major summative assessment for each of the three Units

Assessment
Ultimately, assessment will be up to the teacher that is overseeing your progress. However, a potential weighting of this course can be seen on the course outline below.
