Course Expectations
Wolf Creek's Enhanced Learning Courses are structured differently than your typical course.  In this course you will have:
 - Scheduled class time with your teacher where you are provided with lessons, support and feedback.
 - There will also be scheduled class time where you have to work on your own.

  • As this is a blended course you will need to be self-motivated, self-directed and organized. This includes viewing videos, staying in contact with your teacher, attending instructional and working class time and of course completing all formative and summative assessments.
  • Your teacher will be available inside and outside regularly scheduled class time through Google Hangouts, phone and text support. The onus though is on you, so be sure to stay in contact with your teacher.
  • You will get as much out of this course as you put in. So stay motivated and make sure that you put in your best effort so that you can have as much success as possible.
How to Navigate this Course.
This course is a blended online and in-class course. It will require you to attend classes where you will either:
1) Receive Instruction from your teacher
and/or

2) Have time to complete assignments

- Both types of classes are mandatory and will need to be attended in order to have success.
This course also has a online component that will operate through this website. To have success you will:
1) Need to navigate this website in order to access the coursework/workspaces for each unit within the course.
2) Complete the coursework provided in each unit's Hapara Workspace.  Each unit will have a workspace created for it that will be linked to the corresponding page on this site. Within each workspace you will:
  • Be aware of each unit's learning goals/outcomes
  • Need to view all course videos and complete all learning activities within the workspace.
  • Complete all formative and summative assessments within each unit's workspace. this will require you to print off each assessment, complete it and either hand it in physically or:
              a) take a picture of your work using your
                   personal device

              b) Upload the images to your drive
and acquire the link to share your work.

              c) Submit that link to your work in the
                  appropriate card for that assessment.

  • Please note that some summative assessments will need to be completed in a controlled and observed environment. Your teacher will outline this for you and your course.
